Orphanage to College Program

Here’s What the Program Does

Since 2006 we have been fully supporting children who once resided at an orphanage in Tanzania and are now in secondary school and college. We provide them with tuition, meals, boarding, medical care and transport. This full support makes it possible for them to focus on finishing their education so they can obtain careers.

Who We Help

The youth we help come within our Orphan to College Program from households with monthly incomes of $30 (on average). Most have lost one or more of their parents. All are ambitious, grateful and hardworking and have to maintain a minimum of a C average and give back to their communities to continue to receive support.

Here are the Results

Success Stories

We believe that we’re in this world to help each other.

Every year, our students demonstrate perseverance, reminding us that obstacles can be overcome and that one person can change a life forever.

This is Innocent. He was once a child who didn't own a bed and didn't get fed. A child who was told that his parents had traveled away and later bullied for being an orphan.

This is Revo. He went from losing his father at a young age and having to take care of his sick mother to living in an orphanage and eventually getting a full-ride scholarship to Duke University in the USA.

This is Jonas. A boy who didn't understand the importance of education and thought his fate was to live and die in the streets.
