Happy Thanksgiving! In our country, Thanksgiving is a time when we reflect on all that God has done in our lives and we’re thankful to Him. It’s a day of spending time with family, and many people travel great distances to spend a few days with their extended families. Many people spend the day together watching parades and football games on television. Its a day of feasting and most people traditionally serve roasted turkey and ham.

I’m excited that you’re so interested in art. Your artistic ability is a God-given talent and you should pursue it. There are so many beautiful things where you live to inspire your artistry. My son Evan is also interested in art and he graduated from secondary school last year winning his school’s graduation medal for visual and performing arts. We were very proud of him. We want to support you in your pursuit of becoming an artist, so please let Theresa know if there are any art supplies you are needing.

About values, God has given us two commands that guide my life; Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and all with all your mind, and love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus said that “all the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments”, meaning that if you abide by them, you’ll be living in God’s will.

God bless you, Exuper, and love from all the Conklin Family!
