About Jackline

jacklineJackline (also called Jackie) was born in 1995 in Machame, Tanzania. Before being helped by Make A Difference, Jackie and her younger brother lived with their grandparents. Her mother passed away when she was only nine-years-old, and she doesn’t remember when her father died. Living with her grandparents meant that Jackline never got to focus on her education as she was always completing chores around the farm. Jackline is now a beautiful teenage girl. She is working hard and her grades are improving each month. This year she is going to study nursing at a local hospital in Kilimanjaro.

Jackline is motivated to help people in her society with their health and wants to be a doctor when she grows up!

Read Jackline’s Blog for updates on her grades, recent activities, items she received, and goals for the future.

Consider helping Jackline achieve her dreams by helping sponsor her!
Jackline’s schooling is being paid for this year, but she has many years of schooling ahead of her and needs more sponsorship. Jackline just graduated from Mother Teresa of Calcutta Girls School in Same, Tanzania. She will attend advanced level school from 2016 to 2017 and then go to college.
